BEAR BASICS CLASSES
These teddy bear basics classes are back by popular demand. We will be offering two classes which will be one day courses, the first designed for beginners and the second for those wanting to improve their techniques.
Class 1 - Teddy Bear Basics Course
This class is designed to take you through the basic construction of your own mohair teddy bear. You will make a bear of approximately 12 inches from beautiful Steiff Schulte mohair. The course will take you through the whole process of making a traditional jointed teddy bear, who will be ready to take home at the end of the day.
The course date remaining for this year is:
Sunday 14th October 2012
Further dates will be added in the New Year for 2013
Each course will run from 9.30am until approximately 4.30pm. All materials will be provided and you will have a copy of the pattern and instructions to take home with you. The maximum number of students is 4 per course. The one day course costs £100 inc VAT. Refreshments are provided but you will need to bring a packed lunch.
Class 2 - Teddy Bear Back to Basics Bear Making Course
This class is deisgned to take a constructive look at your current creations and then to help you develop your skills further. This may include needle sculting, trapunto paws for example. You may not create a whole bear during the day as the idea is to develop your skills.
The course dates will be:
Sunday 28th October 2012
This course will run from 10.30am - 4.00pm. This course does not include the cost of materials, you will be able to bring your current project along or chose some new mohair to start something new. The maximum number of students is 4 per course. The one day course costs £65 inc VAT. Refreshments are provided but you will need to bring a packed lunch.
