Blizzard is a realistic polar bear measuring 46cm from his tail to his nose and stands approximately 24cm high. Originally designed by Sue Lawson of Born Again Bears for Oakley Fabrics. He is father to the irresistable cub, Snowflake.

To make Blizzard you will need:

0.5m Mohair or Alpaca
Ultrasuede or wool felt for paw pads
3x 75mm Joints for head and back leg joints
2x 64mm Joints for front legs
1 pair of 10mm Black Glass Eyes
Polyfill
Growler (optional)

A basic sewing kit is also required.

5 stars Excellent Pattern Written by Louise

Just finished this bear and I'm delighted with the result. He's big and stocky and beautiful, with a lovely curvy back. I'm pleased that his head is longer and more polar-bear-like than it appears in the photo. The instructions assume you're familiar with the basic techniques.

5 stars Brilliant Written by Richard (aRTy Bears)
This pattern is absolutely brilliant. I'm so pleased with the final result and even with basic skills you will still create something to be proud of. I would highly recommend. Although forewarning he's big at 43cm.
