Fiskars Soft Touch Scissors

I first came across these straight handled scissors about 15 years ago and have had a pair or two in my box ever since.

The handles are straight meaning no sore thumbs from long periods of thumbs stuck in the conventional handles. The blades are also spring loaded which make light work of actually using the scissors! Just make sure that no-one else in the family uses them!!

Remember when cutting out you fur fabric to only cut the backing fabric. Pointing the scissors upwards and taking small snips makes this easier and reduces the risk of cutting the fur pile.
